I am interested in reading your book and giving you feedback! Below are my guidelines for submissions:
1. Please submit manuscripts in the following genres:
-Historical Fiction
-Memoir
-Mystery/Suspense
-Contemporary Fiction
2. Please submit early copy of a finished book (ARC) so as to avoid doing additional work in proofreading and copyediting. The ARC can be emailed to me directly in standard submission format (i.e. MICROSOFT WORD, DOUBLE SPACED, etc.).
3. Due to the requests for book reviews, I prefer to receive books from publishers, publicists and authors. Although I am happy to review these submissions, there is no guarantee that I will select ARCs that have been sent to me. In this case, you will be notified.
4. Please feel free to email me a short synopsis of your book and if your book piques my interest, I will provide a thorough review of it. I'll begin with a short plot synopsis and character review. I will also review the layers of a story and overall if it's a good read.
5. I will then submit my reviews to you and offer to post my review of the book to the following websites:
-Amazon
-Good Reads
-Shelfari
-NYC Reader Blog
6. Timeline: In the event you have a deadline to meet, know that it takes about 1-1.5 weeks to thoroughly read your book and 4 days thereafter to compose a review. If for some reason I cannot get through your submission, I will indicate how far I've gotten and give you a review based on what I've read.
7. Lastly, I do not get compensated for my reviews. My reviews are detailed and honest. If there is a review you do not like, I will not post it on your behalf.
